Romantic
Destinations in Nevada by Richard Rspad
It
is hard to think of any other state where such an effort is made to make
sure visitors have a great time. This noble effort applies just as much
to romantic destinations in Nevada.
Romantic
Destinations in Nevada
When
most people think of Nevada, they can't help but think about Las Vegas.
This city is the state's biggest draw, with many casinos and busy, expensive
and huge resorts located along the Las Vegas city Strip. While this city
is undoubtedly the reason that most people come to Nevada, you don't have
to plan your romantic destinations in Nevada around one of the big casino
hotels. You can stay close to Vegas and still stay in a romantic inn or
bed and breakfast – combining the best of both worlds.
The
Boulder Dam Hotel Bed and Breakfast is a historic building situated between
Hoover Dam and Las Vegas in Boulder City, Nevada. Built in 1933 in a unique
Dutch Colonial style, this building was first used as accommodations for
project managers working on the nearby Hoover Dam. Today, this hotel has
built up a reputation for excellence and has, over the years, housed many
important people and dignitaries. The Boulder Dam Hotel houses 21 guest
rooms, all of which have recently been remodeled. Close enough to the Las
Vegas strip so that you can enjoy all the sights, but far enough away to
be out of the bustling city, this is a great place to stay if you are looking
for a romantic Vegas location.
When
you stay at the Boulder Dam Hotel for your romantic destinations in Nevada,
you will get a complimentary continental breakfast each morning on weekdays,
and a full hot breakfast on weekends. Also home to the Boulder City/Hoover
Dam Museum on the first floor of the hotel, this establishment houses some
gift shops as well. The Matteo Restaurant offers not only breakfasts to
guests, but also functions as a full service restaurant. Each room in the
Hotel is equipped with many amenities, including climate control and private
baths, to make sure your trip here is comfortable.
Located
inside the city limits of Las Vegas, the Rodgers House was built in the
1950's and is in a quiet, historic and residential neighborhood of the
city. Two rooms here are set up to accommodate guests who are looking for
a place to stay in Vegas outside of the Strip. Both rooms have queen beds,
private hall bathrooms, and include a welcome tea tray upon arrival. Breakfast
is also included in your rate here, which is very reasonable for the area.
Taking
romantic destinations in Nevada may seem like nothing new, because thousands
of people get married here each year – but if you want a truly unique experience,
stay at one of the smaller inns and establishments located off the Las
Vegas Strip.
