Benidorm, a good destiny
by Eurodipity
Benidorm (between Valencia
and Alicante) surely is the Spanish locality and mediterranean beach with
the greater tourist occupation (if we talk about Spain).
A
good part of the attractiveness of Benidorm is it microclimate that is
so good in spring (24º), autumn (20º), winter (18º), and
of course, in summer (31º). We can say that Benidorm has good temperatures
all the year.
For
this reason, it is very visited by European tourists (British, German,
French), whom they look for in this place, the sun that they need in their
countries.
An interesting data is that
in many towns of Alicante, there are more foreign inhabitants than Spanish
(like Altea, to 7 km of Benidorm). It is very usual to see that European
retired couples, decide to live their lives in this sweet place.
Account with 70.000 inhabitant
(2007), although a great majority of foreigners are not registered so it
calculates that there will be about 100,000 inhabitants during most part
of the year.
Benidorm has wonderful beaches
(accessible beachs with Blue flag), of crystalline sea and fine sands.
Most important they are the Levante, the Poniente, and Cala del Mal Pas.
Besides its impressive beaches,
Benidorm has numerous celebrations throughout the year: 'Fallas', in March,
'Bonfires of San Juan' in June, 'Moors and Christians' in October. In Benidorm,
the leisure and the diversion are absolutely guaranteed. In the same city
or to very few kilometers, there are Parks of leisure, thematic or aquatic,
for all the family.
If to that we added the important
nocturnal life with very many pubs and spectacles, it seems that the flavorful
food, is served. And speaking of food, he is something forced for all the
tourists, to prove authentic and 'riquísima' Paella.
